I feel music in my life, running its course, its path.... through my veins, chest, and heart. Human condition: to feel pain, pleasure, to balance the tightrope ever since the Garden of Eden. Prison guards; cut the chains, let the women and men go free, It's a holiday everyday everyday you breathe...
I like music that is moving and sincere. Sincerity is becoming rare these days, especially in the main stream. I kinda go against the current and will take it way out there -- like in jazz. Life is music. And that music encompasses your whole life: all your habits, ways you do things, how you talk and react, etc. Those things require practice too. I will be practicing my whole life!
Music doesn't stop. Neither does growing and striving to attain wisdom. Life is the train, not the station. Keep the grooves warm, cozy and truthful and good things have to come.

Lingo
Music may be the universal language, but that doesn't mean it should all sound the same. There are a lot of people speaking the language of music, but most of them don't really have anything new to say.
Lingo is different. This is a band with their own secret language, as their name would indicate. There are familiar components, to be sure-ripping guitar solos that evoke the Allman Brothers, African and Latin grooves, soulful vocals, thoughtful lyrics. Still, the result is unlike anything else out there, and if you open your ears wide enough, you can tell Lingo has something to say.

Seven Handle Circus
Formed in 2010, Seven Handle Circus is a six-piece Georgia band that has been critically acclaimed as "bad-ass bluegrass" with the "drive and energy of a rock band." During their legendary live performances they push the limits of human endurance to send each crowd into a dancing and partying frenzy. Elements of rock, punk and alternative infuse their shows and they have even rocked crowds with rappers such as T-Pain & Yung Joc.
On their debut EP, Whiskey Stills & Sleeping Pills, Seven Handle Circus draws from their love of traditional bluegrass and folk and distills these influences into a modern sound that is all their own. With themes ranging from the fun of drinking to the complexities of life, Seven Handle Circus shares the beauty of the music they love, along with plenty of new surprises.
The band is already following in the footsteps of some wildly successful alternative acts that use elements of bluegrass to create a modern style of music. Whiskey Stills & Sleeping Pills was recorded in Asheville, NC at Echo Mountain studio, whose clients include cutting-edge artists like the Avett Brothers. Last May, the band headlined Chattanooga, Tennessee's acclaimed Nightfall Concert Series, where Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and Nickel Creek played before breaking wide open. Last year, Mumford & Sons invited the band to play at The Fox Theater in Atlanta after the platinum-selling Englishmen just happened upon an acoustic set 7HC was playing at the bar next door to the historic theater.
The band members, all of whom began playing as young kids and have formal training, are accomplished musicians, and they display this faithfully with their tight performances and fluent picking.

Soon after beginning her musical journey, she was selected to perform on NBC’s America’s Most Talented Kid along with stars like Diana DeGarmo and JoJo. After her nationally televised debut she began to receive media coverage from sources coast to coast. Having appeared on Access Hollywood, as well as many other major news stations, Lindsay finally began to receive the promotion and experience that she had always dreamed of obtaining. Riley
The first thing you notice about Atlanta-raised singer/songwriter Riley is how self-assured she is at sixteen. "I want to record an album," she says. "I want people to relate to my lyrics the way I've related to other people in my life. I want to do tours. I love when the audience sings along with words I've written." Her vocal virtuosity is undeniable too. But neither trait marks her as an outlier, not among what a new book calls Alpha Girls.
Thanks to the ubiquity of Garage Band, Riley's also not the first Alpha Girl to write her first song after school on her neighbor's laptop. But few of those compositions are compelling enough to hook producers, publishers, and Elton John's management company. Most writers struggle to become natural at taking something specific - a classmate's lack of self-confidence on the guitar (a boy, naturally, in this case) - and making the creative leap to a universally relatable and marketable theme: "we all feel a little broken on the inside." That's a rare knack. Accomplished songwriters no doubt try to channel it each time they pick up a guitar.
"I try to write about what's real," Riley says. "I write about love, because everybody knows what that's like, good or bad."

Twin City
The drive behind what we do is our desire to inspire the world; our desire to spread LOVE. The best way we can achieve this is through music. We want our music to be deaf to color, race, gender, religion, and socioeconomic status. Our music is to be heard by all. We are a CITY ON A HILL!"
Samuel and Tammy are a brother & sister band from Nigeria. They currently live in Cobb County, Georgia, USA. Samuel, provides vocals and plays the keyboard, acoustic and electric guitar, harmonica, and drums. Tammy, the lead singer, plays the piano, saxophone, and drums. Together, they make Twin City. While Tammy writes most of the lyrics, and Samuel composes most of the songs, they both record and produce their music in their basement. The sound of Twin City is diverse. They stay current with today's pop/dance/electro sound, but still keep it vintage by adding some electric guitar, a bit of the ivory (piano) and the acoustic sound of a drum set. Their music touches genres including pop, rock, rnb, hip hop, dance, gospel, etc. With their Nigerian background, their love for 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s music, and all genres, makes them diverse in their work; thus creating a unique sound that is Twin City.

Nine Times Blue
While they clearly wear their influences on their sleeve, invoking the classic power pop that first inspired them to pick up instruments, Atlanta-based Nine Times Blue has a radio friendly, modern sound that is all their own, infused with Americana influences, such as Wilco, Ryan Adams, and Band of Horses. Comprised of Kirk Waldrop (vox/guitar), Greg King (guitar/vox), Jeff Nelson (bass/vox) and Jason Brewer (drums/percussion), Nine Times Blue’s new album – Falling Slowly – is being released by Renegade Recordings, distributed nationally by City Hall Records.
Full of songs about love, heartache, loss and hope, Nine Times Blue continues the tradition forged by their influences of blending infectious hooks, layered harmonies, melodic guitars, McCartney-esque bass lines and a driving backbeat to make you tap your foot and sing along, whether it’s a song about new found love or a devastating break-up. The opening title track brings to mind the catchiest of Gin Blossoms songs interlaced with Coldplay and Snow Patrol’s lush guitars, and the lush background vocals on “Serena” remind one of the Beach Boys and Jellyfish. "Crazy To Think" is the best song that Nick Lowe never wrote. “Fun and Games” highlights the influence today’s Americana artists have had on Nine Times Blue’s primary songwriter – Kirk Waldrop.

Prairie State Heartache
Grown and harvested in the heart Illinois, Prairie State Heartache began their musical endeavor together in the spring of 2010 with the mere anticipation of using the band as a recreational vehicle for entertainment while passing idle time. The group quickly evolved from piecing together melodies and riffs during countless late nights to performing live, as a band, for local audiences in their hometown of Springfield, Illinois. Through the ongoing desire to connect outwardly and play for live audiences, the band began creating a stir in the local music scene and found a much clearer vision and direction.
While still in their early days as a band, interest from platinum recording producer, Rick Beato (Shinedown, Needtobreathe, Corey Smith) sparked and Prairie State Heartache found themselves heading south to Georgia to record their first e.p. The album, comprised of two year’s worth of work as a group , showcases a small collection of songs about love, life and growth through heartfelt lyrics and sharp studio performances. The recorded selections highlight elements of folk, rock, pop, blues and country, while painting a musical landscape of contemporary Americana, mirroring Prairie State's cultural roots.
Prairie State Heartache is fronted by lead vocalist and songwriter, Jonathan Cour. Over the years, Jonathan has travelled the country to work with some of the music industry’s hottest producers and most decorated songwriters including Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson), Annie Roboff (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw), Zac Maloy (Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton), and Ted Bruner (Katy Perry, My Darkest Days). As Prairie State Heartache, Cour is joined by hometown friends, Granville Helm, Justin Angel and his cousin, Andrew Shackelford. The road less traveled has taken these four musicians on a journey of life, love and growing pains with only the promise of more to come as they work together to make their own path in the musical landscape.

Judah has been creating music all of his life and recording since he was 10 years old. Music is one of his premier passions in life. He is an artist in every sense of the word: writer, producer, and performer. "Music has mood and personality", Judah says..."different styles and genres bring out different emotions and inspirations and I want to explore and express each of those emotions."
Having been in and out of various successful groups throughout his music career, Judah is now embarking on a new solo project. This project will include blended sounds of pop and hip hop, paired with catchy melodies and groundbreaking concepts.
When asked about why he makes music Judah replied, "I make music because I literally have to in order to function normally as a citizen. I have a lot to say to the world and if I don't say it, I feel like I might explode. Creating music is one of the most powerful expressions anyone can exhibit in their lives. For me, life without making music is basically life in a box with no light and no air. This is what I do, it's what I love, and it's who I am. Let's change the world"

Stereotype
Stereotype by definition is (a simplification in which all the members of a class are considered to be definable by a set of characteristics). Atlanta based band Stereotype, formed in 2007, literally defy the word, the name Stereotype is more of a cliche. With a blend of rock and soul, the group brings a new sound to rock music. "It can be best described as raw organic rock & soul," as put by Kelly Robillard of Connect Statesboro.
Larry Washington/Mic Larry (vocals), Vanessa Gallagher/Faneza (guitar), Irving Marshall(drums) and Andrew Meeks(bass), have spent the past few years combing the stages of live music venues in major cities and college towns throughout the southeast. Singer Mic Larry solidified the band after being blown away by left-handed lead guitarist Faneza (Gibson Girl 2011) when she sat in for a few songs during a performance at a quaint Atlanta dive bar more than three years ago. Drummer, Irving and bassist, Andrew merged into the band completing the group shortly after.
The high energy group is known for getting crowds on their feet and has entertained in large numbers ranging from local music festivals to rocking out sold-out arenas supporting major music artists. Lead Singer Mic Larry is hard pressed to find an audience he cannot impress, while the incredible musicianship of Faneza, Drew and Irving blissfully stun fans by the masses with each show.
Stereotype prides itself on its ability to not only to branch out into any genre of music, but to gain fans in any environment. Stereotype recently wrapped up their EP, which was produced in Nashville by renowned writer, producer and musician Blue Miller, who has written songs for the likes of Gladys Knight, Isaac Hayes and most recently, Blue October and India Arie.
Stereotype's music is real. The talent level is surreal, and after the show, your first impression will cause you to think twice about your very own Stereotype.
